Shomari KRL has made it his duty to share his musical talents with a growing regional and international audience. With his skills as a DJ and/or energetic MC, he has kept listeners and party goers entertained across the Caribbean region.

Growing up in Trincity, Trinidad and Tobago, music has always been a passion for Shomari. This passion has fuelled him to adopt the belief that every DJ set, mix or performance should always tell a profound story that resonates with and captivates the listener. He revels in the ability of making every performance memorable and ensuring both clients and patrons are left wanting more! His signature style has allowed him to gain popularity in many countries throughout the Caribbean region including St. Vincent and St. Lucia while still maintaining a fan base in T&T. His mixes have also been gaining traction in the US and UK, as download statistics show heavy streaming in territories such as New York, Florida and London just to name a few. Although he has mastered the ability to mix a wide variety of musical genres (Soca, Calypso, Dancehall, Reggae, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Pop & Top 40 Music) he is known across the Caribbean for his keen interest, advocacy and the promotion of Carnival culture and soca music from lesser known territories in the region. Even using his influences in the T&T Soca scene to endorse and promote music from these countries. This knowledge has given him a competitive edge and a unique sound in his performances, while allowing him to make linkages with many artistes from the islands. This coupled with his electrifying stage performances has made Shomari nothing short of a badass.
